½ pound margarine at room temperature
½ cup powdered cocoa
2 tablespoons
Granulated Colcafe dissolved in ¼ cup hot water
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
4 eggs lightly beaten
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups flour
dash of salt
powdered sugar for decoration
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Grease and flour a 20cm x 31cm baking dish.
In double boiler melt margarine and cocoa, stirring until the mix is soft.
Add coffee and brown and granulated sugars, and stir until sugars are dissolved but a few grains remain.
Remove from heat.
Pour in eggs beating constantly. Add flour and salt. Pour into prepared dish and bake for about 25 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool 10 minutes. Remove from dish and cut into squares.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar
